Talk about IRONY!

It seems very ironic to me that a black president who has declared that he will not tolerate racism in any form, is now constantly the first too jump right to the race card. One of the greatest ironies in the history of the United States to me is that while our president, who has broken the privacy act by requesting that everyone send in any misleading info about his health plan, would ask everyone to SHUT UP if you basically disagree with anything he says, and then call us organized mobs because we disagree with him. It is ironic because, does anyone recall the 60's and a little movement by the black community. Talk about organized, these people did all they could to change what they knew was immoral and wrong, and yet it was o.k. that they grouped and fought the government, but now we have a black president that hates that anyone would group together to fight the government. I would like to point out that if you look real close at the "mob" you will see a lot of older people and sick people with hand made signs. Yet on the other side of the debate is a whole lot of young people (probably paid to come) with very professionally made signs. Who is the organized ones. And I would like to point out that not one time did violence enter these town hall meetings until ACORN and SEIU showed up to help out with things. Does anyone out there care that it is not the 15th amendment or the 25th, but it is the 1st and most fundamental right we have, to speak what we will. Is anyone annoyed that our last president was ridiculed, made fun of, and mistreated more than anyone else, yet we can not say anything against this president. I tell everyone that tells me to get over my anger and show this president the respect he deserves because of his office, that I will show him the same or as much respect that he himself showed his president. Since when did we turn our government into rock stars instead of what they are, PUBLIC SERVANTS. They work for us, not the other way around. Obama deserves to be treated the same way he treated President Bush.

Andy Rooney and Prayer

Andy Rooney and Prayer

Andy Rooney says:

I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I'm not going to sue somebody for singing a Ho-Ho-Ho song in December. I don't agree with Darwin , but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his Theory of Evolution.

Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game. So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire Book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game.

But it's a Christian prayer, some will argue.

Yes, and this is the United States of America , a country founded on Christian principles. According to our very own phone book, Christian churches outnumber all others better than 200-to-1. So what would you expect -- somebody chanting Hare Krishna?

If I went to a football game in Jerusalem ,
I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer...

If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad , I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer.

If I went to a ping pong match in China , I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha..

And I wouldn't be offended.
It wouldn't bother me one bit.
When in Rome .....

But what about the atheists? Is another argument.

What about them? Nobody is asking them to be baptized. We're not going to pass the collection plate. Just humor us for 30 seconds. If that's asking too much, bring a Walkman or a pair of ear plugs. Go to the bathroom. Visit the concession stand Call your lawyer!

Unfortunately, one or two will make that call. One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do. I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.

Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights. Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep.
Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. Now a handful of people and their lawyers are telling us to cease praying.

God, help us. And if that last sentence offends you, well, just sue me.

The silent majority has been silent too long. It's time we tell that one or two who scream loud enough to be heard that the vast majority doesn't care what they want. It is time that the majority
Rules!

It's time we tell them, You don't have to pray; you don't haveto say the Pledge of Allegiance; you don't have to believe in God or attend services that honor Him. That is your right, and we will honor your right; but by golly, you are no longer going to take our rights away. We are fighting back, and we WILL WIN!

God bless us one and all ... Especially those who denounce Him
, God bless America, despite all her faults. She is still the greatest nation of all. God bless our service men who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God.

Let's make 2009
the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions . And our military forces come home from all the wars.

Keep looking up.

Analogy of the Month.

The other day I was watching the news, after awhile seeing the same crap over and over I decided to change the channel and watch Animal Planet. Steve Irwin's the Crocodile Hunter was on. He showed a story of a crocodile that was living in the marsh next to a military base in Florida. He was asked to come help take this massive beast to an area where visitors and base members couldn't feed it so easily. Apparently the giant croc was getting used to being fed and was now comfortable in the presence of humans. He was to catch the beast and with help move it to another remote location on the base where it would have less human contact. As Steve prepared the ropes to wrap around it's mouth after using a fish as bait, he had an unusually hard time getting the rope in position as the croc realized what was happening and began to runaway. Steve then dropped the ropes and flew on top of the great dinosaur, using his whole body and weight to hold it down. Soon the group of bystanders were running over and jumped on to help. They were all being dragged into the mud and ick where the animal could fight back. Steve Irwin grabbed his mouth and quickly lifted his legs when the other did the same and they were able to lift the dinosaur up and take it to the truck, where they traveled to their destination and released him back into the wild.
For days I thought about this as I realized that this is exactly like our situation with our own government. As they get ever more comfortable and closer to invading our work and homes, we must take action to drive them back to their natural habitat. We must as Americans work together to
catch this great beast before it invades our territory anymore. We must jump on top of this beast and keep it from dragging us all into the mud and ick of government slandering and hate. We must not take sides, but pick the best people (like Steve Irwin was the best man for the job) to help us put this government back in it's place. We cannot bicker back and forth about which side should have power, but which men and women would be the best for the job and would stand up for what's right. We cannot stand idly by and let this beast continue to inch it's way closer to our environment. We must stop it from getting to complacent and comfortable in it's ways, and remind it that it has a place to live and that it should stay there. Our founding fathers wanted government to be limited, and set up a great system. A system established by God to rule over a country that was set apart for freedom. These men that established this country with proper government values would be in utter disapproval that we would allow our government to become what they were willing to give their lives to escape. We owe it to them, ourselves, and our children to keep this government the way it was intended to be.

Taxes for Porn- WHAT THE HELL!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This is the story that finally broke my back. I can not believe that some idiot thought that this was art, and we should use all the hard earned money of the American people and my family to pay for this DIRT. Our leaders decided to allocate 80 million dollars to art. Great Idea, when used for orchestras and museums and art institutes. NOT FOR underground San Francisco horror porn. Over 50 thousand dollars were given to this underground playhouse, and some "Perv Revue" (what do you think that is about, I wonder). Glenn Beck is right, it is time to stand up America and pull it out. We can not sit by and watch this government take away all are rights and then use our money that is forced out of our hands to pay for this crap. I will say it again if we do not take care of this country, our God will. He will clean up this mess, but will we be around to see it if we don't help. We all need to do what we can to tell this government to take their "SO CALLED ART" and leave our country alone.
